Travel Documents Arrived!

The kids passports came today. That's one more hurdle cleared. Between last week and this week, we've all taken care of our first bi-annual dentist trip. We all got good reports on our teeth. :) Please pray for Mark as he is finishing up a highly demanding project at work while trying to get ready for a new project in Hong Kong. It's kind of stressful for him right now. Also pray for our continued good health and wisdom in preparation for leaving.

Two Weeks and Counting!

Praise the Lord, for directing us to a good deal on 3 more pieces of luggage from Sears at a little less than half the cost. We are starting to get items ready that will be air shipped. We have gone through all the summer clothes to make sure we have what we need. We are also finishing up last minute paper work for Mark's work visa. The kids passports are being expedited and we expect them by this next Monday. We only have two more weeks until we leave. The time sure is going quickly.

Getting ready to head to China!

We discovered on January 19th that Mark's employer wanted to send our family to China. We are very excited for this opportunity and look forward to our time there. We are now in the throws of shuffling our responsibilities, and planning for a 5 month adventure during the hottest season for China. What's the saying from the kids movie - "We're going on an adventure. We're going on a trip." We thank the Lord for this awesome privilege to grow in the areas of work experience, education, and ministry. We will do our best to keep you posted on our progress towards leaving on Thursday, March 3, 2011.
